Our engineers handle the migration and it is free — sites, databases, mailboxes and DNS. We stage a full copy on our infrastructure first and test it against your live site, so the DNS cutover only happens once everything is verified. Typical downtime is nil.
No. The rate you sign at is the rate you renew at — there is no introductory discount that doubles in year two. Prices are flat, quoted in Rands, and Tan Tech does not charge VAT.

Backups run nightly to encrypted off-site storage, with a 14-day restore window on shared hosting and weekly disaster-recovery snapshots on VPS and bare metal. Self-service restore is available in cPanel; anything larger is a support request and we do it for you.
In Tier III facilities in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Nothing leaves South Africa, which keeps you inside POPIA data-residency expectations and gives local visitors single-digit millisecond latency instead of a trip to Europe and back.
Month-to-month on 30 days written notice. We hand over a full export — files, databases and mail — and release the domain without argument or exit fee. Hosting should be kept by service, not by hostage-taking.
